About Emine Atalay

Emine Atalay is an Accredited Psychotherapy and Counselling Federation of Australia Registrant in Psychotherapy and Counselling. She has been practicing for over a decade, holds a post graduate diploma in Psychotherapy and Counselling, and is a member of both the College of Counsellors, and the College of Relationship Counsellors.

Emine Atalay achieved a Bachelor of Arts Degree and a Diploma in Education from Macquarie University in Sydney Australia. After working as a Cultural Studies and Religion and Ethics teacher in a prominent private school, Emine was consistently drawn to assist in the psychological welfare of the students and families. This led her to attain a post graduate diploma in Psychotherapy and Counselling at The Australian College of Applied Psychology. 

Emine has completed training in various programmes with Neuro Linguistic Program and Quantum Psychology experts such as Anthony Robbins and Dr Joe Dispenza. Along the way, Emine has delved deeply into Eastern philosophies and gained embodied gnosis of both Sufi & Islamic Tawheed, and the Advaita Non Dual psychology; both studies based on Self Inquiry and Metaphysical realities. Emine is also a trained professional in Theta Healing therapies. 

Emine has worked as a teacher, trainer and facilitator in various platforms regarding psychology, spirituality and holistic wellbeing. Specialising in CALD (culturally and linguistically diverse) communities, Emine has consistently organised and facilitated women’s circles for over 20 years, focusing her work on women, children, teenagers, and couples.

Currently, alongside her fully private counselling practice, Emine works with a Government funded mental health recovery organisation as a Peer Support, Self Development Educator and Trainer, delivering a collaborative recovery model.
