Life events and situations can be so overwhelming at times that even the best of us can slip into dysfunction. Sometimes the best way to put everything into a balanced perspective is to have an honest discussion with someone who can listen objectively, someone who is not involved with our personal life and because they are trained to listen, they can genuinely hear us. Equally they can help us to hear our-selfs. Sometimes we just need a safe space to talk about whats going on for us, without the fear of being judged or shamed. We want to authentically discuss our hidden fears or expose our deep concerns, so we can gain a fresh perspective or clear direction in our lives.

At Oneness, we invite our clients to join with us in verbal and/or written contract of full confidentiality before any session or working plan.

Depending on the need of the client we offer Counselling or Psychotherapy.

The difference between the two is that while counselling is usually a shorter process in identifying and resolving new or persisting issues, Psychotherapy on the other hand, is a longer deeper process where we explore the root causes of dysfunctional behaviours, patterns or beliefs and replace them with constructive ones. In both modalities we work for solution and resolve at the clients pace, and in allegiance with the clients cultural and personal values.

Using a variety of evidence-based techniques, we practice intergrative person-centred modalities. This means we aim to enable clients to develop self awareness and gain the interpersonal skills they need to make lasting positive changes in their lives, integrally within their own cultural and spiritual worldview and in authentic ways that are best suitable to their personality and temperament.  Some of these modalities are well known such as:

  • Rogerian Talk Therapy,
  • Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT),
  • Acceptance commitment Therapy (ACT),
  • Mindfulness based Therapy,
  • Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT),
  • Narrative Therapy,
  • Art Therapy,
  • Somatic Therapy & Breath work
  • Gestalt Therapy,
  • Existential Therapy
  • Rapid eye movement Therapy (EMDR)

Pre-marriage & Couples Counselling

The journey to oneness isn’t always a solo trip

‘Love one another’ means, love is a verb…

Life is relative. It is relational.

Hence relationships with both others and self, is the core of Life.

Love is the core of the core, and is what keeps everything in relation, be it harmonious be it otherwise. Where there is a sense of a lack of love, its simply a call for love. Relating is like a dance, sometimes you dance togther with with a partner, making your steps and swings align with one-anther, at other times you dance solo, and the audience becomes the partner. Wether you are dancing alone or with another, you will naturally experience both elation and exhaustion at times.  There will be times when things just flow in loving harmony and then there will be times when the music stops, the rhythm is lost and suddenly you find yourself or your partner in flight, fight or freeze mode. Making communication almost impossible, if not detrimental. Communication can easily become contaminated with conflict, relating can seem impossible or stagnate, intimacy can feel lost.Decisions need to be made. Staying together lovingly or separating respectfully can become very hard. The quality of our relationships can have a huge impact on our daily functioning and our sense of being, for this reason we may find ourselves asking ‘am I getting what I need from this relationship”,even though this question is valid, it equally important to ask maybe the better and higher question, that is, “am I giving all I have to the relationship?”.

To ask ourselves the right questions and hear the answers clearly we may need an objective 3rd party who can hear us nonjudgmental and help us to identify our blindspots, where might we be missing the beat and rhythm, or how might we be stepping on the toes and causing the hurt or friction?

At Oneness, we understand the confusions, hardships and challenges that come with all degrees of a relationship, be it in the stage of being lovers, as partners in marriage or in the process of separation or divorce. We work with couples in full consideration with their cultural and spiritual needs, and we listen to find real resolve to whatever issue may be the cause to their conflict. We meet you authentically and without judgment. While providing the safe space and therapeutic support, we aim to help you to ask the right questions and identify the barriers that prevent you from communicating with love. We support couples, together and individually, to make mindful choices and invite to empower them to learn the necessary relationship skills, so that they can celebrate harmonious constructive steps forward, both together and separately. Through counselling, couples can find the opportunity to discover how they can move proactively in love and how to enhance and nurture their relationship lovingly, mutually.

Uniquely, we offer a ‘one-day pre-marriage preparation workshop’ where couples are invited to declare and expose their fears, express their expectations and explain their fantasies of marriage life, so that they may dispel the fears and clear the expectations and enter the marriage consciously. In this workshop, we take you through the 7 universal phases of relationship and we highlight 7 accent foundational principles that make relationships meaningful, fruitful and eternal.

Group Counselling

Although Group Therapy can be highly effective with members who know each other, researched evidence shows that Group Therapy is most effective and provides greater benefit when the client joins a group in which they don’t know anyone. The idea of joining a group of strangers to talk about personal issues can be scary and intimidating, however we ensure you that the initial fear dissolves very quickly, and you experientially discover that Group Therapy becomes a very rich source of personal healing and you gain a special space to gain deeper social and self-awareness. The multi-dynamics of being in a group therapy, be it a group of strangers or people you work, play or live with, enables you to gain deep therapeutic benefits that you may not find in traditional individual therapy. Group therapy gives each member a unique opportunity to let down their guards and deepen their acceptance by simply sitting and sharing with others who have similar challenges, experiences and behaviours. Importantly, on a metaphysical level, when people come together as a group, with the same intention for resolve and healing, this in itself is a powerful energy field, where even if nothing is spoken literally, still, healing takes place energetically.

While many psychological and spiritual issues can be resolved and coping strategies to problems can be discovered though group therapy, numerous other benefits can also be enjoyed, such as:

  • The group can become a social support network
  • The group can help by being a sounding board for you to find clarity through the experiences, thoughts and feelings of others.
  • You may gain a better perspective on your problem by regularly listening to others and hearing how they view & cope with theirs
  • You may realise your not alone, deepen in empathy and find encouragement, hope and relief by discovering that most experiences are in fact universal.
  • Greater self awareness can develop by interacting with other people and by receiving feedback from the group, and the therapist. Often members discover a deeper sense of self agency and realise that they are responsible for their own lives, action and choices.

Oneness acknowledges, appreciates and celebrates the fact that people have different personalities and backgrounds, and that each person can look at similar or same situation and see it in different ways. We believe there is beauty and unity in diversity, a sacred oneness that elegantly holds life together. We believe that our vulnerabilities are the keys to our strength, and our differences are the doors to an eternal pool of our wealth and wellness. We also know that each individual needs to experientially discover this higher truth for themselves personally. While seeing how other people tackle problems and make positive changes, helps us to discover a whole range of strategies for facing our own concerns, at the same time it also gives us a special space in which we can truly meet and honour our unique selves and the Supreme Oneness. This is why we support and encourage group work. We not only form group sessions but also can accommodate to facilitate your own personal group.

Art Therapy

A picture is worth a thousand words

When words fall short, art speaks and calls to heal…

Sometimes it takes more than talking to heal your psychological wounds.

Sometimes its just too hard to find the words to express how we are feeling.

Sometimes it takes more than talking to heal your psychological wounds.

Sometimes its just too hard to find the words to express how we are feeling.

Sometimes we simply don’t know how or where to begin or paradoxically we don’t know how to stop the words and conversation becomes too confusing.

When we are faced with such extreme states of being we become limited and stuck, as if mentally paralysed. In such times Art therapy can offer amazing therapeutic mediums which can release and realign us back into harmonious order. Its important to note that Art therapy is not about creating masterpieces or making show case pieces of art. Rather it is a therapeutic way of using creative techniques to identify the thoughts and feelings behind unwanted behaviours and to express and release trapped emotions that are causing blockages in your life.

With Art therapy clients are guided to softly, creatively and meaningfully explore, reframe and resolve their issues through the use of:

  • drama, dance movement and role play
  • drawing, painting, collaging, colour and texture
  • sand box & symbol work

An educationally informed consciousness, which expands conscientious self awareness, is crucial for living a balanced, healthy and happy life, individually and collectively.

We are now in the age of Quantum Reality, where the Science of the Unified field of endless possibility is now measurable and quantifiable.  What this means is that our approach to education, to learning and teaching, needs to be in a framework of unification rather than separation.  Oneness by definition means there is no separation. Hence Oneness supports an educational frame which marries science and spirituality, and celebrates a worldview through both lenses. This way we not only get a better  objective view on life as a whole, but also a clearer, deeper focus into our subjective inner and outer world. In turn this allows us to gain real transformative balanced insight, which empowers us to live from our purest authentic self.

Study circles, workshops, personal development programs, lectures and talks on many pycho-spiritual and wellness topics are available for events and groups of all sizes. Private one to one mentoring and personal workshop or training can also be organised.

We also specialise in creating, developing, presenting keynote/powerpoint presentations and can train you personally on how to present it to your own group, on any topic or theme within Oneness principles.  Some course and workshop  we have previously presented and continue to share are:

  • Healthy relationships
  • Love, forgiveness and healing.
  • 24 remedies for illness
  • Rememberance, Reflection, & Gratitude
  • Mindfulness
  • Salah vs Namaz
  • The unseen world according to Islamic traditions

Energetic Healing

Your body is more powerful than you’ve ever imagined

The most important factor in achieving oneness is you. In an energetic healing session, your body is the second-most important factor.

Your body can repress a large amount of both negative and positive energy, which can affect your physical and psychological state of being. Learning to harness that energy and convert it into a vessel for self-improvement is not only practical, but also highly efficient for managing everyday stress.

Though energetic healing is classified as an alternative medicine practice, Oneness counsellors are skilled in the practice and have been using it for many years. With the proper guidance in the correct circumstances, it can be just as effective as any other counselling method.
